Glendale brush hearth closes the two; O.C. blaze consumes 200 acres

The northbound Glendale Freeway was closed briefly for a small brush hearth Wednesday afternoon whereas, to the south, hearth crews battled a blaze in Orange County that rapidly consumed greater than 200 acres.

Authorities responded to the Glendale blaze, dubbed the York hearth, subsequent to California 2 close to Spherical Prime Drive round 4:50 p.m Wednesday, stated Fireplace Division spokesperson Jamie Stewart.
