EVERETT, MASS. (WHDH) – An Everett metropolis worker is off the job after being accused of stealing hundreds in taxpayer cash.
The Middlesex District Lawyer mentioned the previous IT director spent $98,000 on private bills.
The DA mentioned between 2020 and March of this 12 months, he made 400 fraudulent purchases on town’s Amazon account.
He purchased objects together with video video games, Apple AirPods, garments, and bedding.
He was arrested on Friday and charged with larceny.
