The grocery retailer, situated at 1999 Centre St., will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:55 a.m. “to welcome prospects to their new neighborhood retailer,” the shop stated in an announcement.
Greater than 80 workers have been employed from surrounding areas and transferred from different Dealer Joe’s shops to workers the brand new location, the shop stated.
“By the corporate’s longstanding neighborhood shares program, the brand new West Roxbury Dealer Joe’s will donate 100% of merchandise that go unsold to a spread of non-profit, community-based organizations, seven days every week,” the shop stated.
The Dealer Joe’s will take the place of a Walgreens, which closed in November 2024, UniversalHub reported.
The West Roxbury website will mark the grocery retailer’s fourth Boston location, becoming a member of two in Bay Bay and one in Seaport.
