Fort Lauderdale is about to get a style of one in every of Coconut Grove’s buzziest little bakeries. 

Ophelia will open in Huizenga Park this fall, serving scratch-made pastries, specialty espresso, and grab-and-go breakfast and lunch alongside the New River. 

Husband-and-wife cooks Ana De Sa Martins and Juan Vieira launched Ophelia from a vintage-inspired cellular café in Coconut Grove in 2025 after working in kitchens together with Cussed Seed and The Surf Membership. 

The pair makes practically the whole lot in-house, proper right down to the English muffin used for Ophelia’s bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and the syrups and chilly foams for its espresso drinks. Different favorites embody coffee-glazed cinnamon rolls and guava kouign-amann.
