1000’s of Southern California residents are urged to take precautions after a wildfire smoke advisory was issued for communities affected by three ongoing brush fires within the area.

Simi Valley residents, Homeland-area residents and Jurupa Valley residents are underneath the advisory as a result of Sandy Fireplace, Verona Fireplace and Bain Fireplace, respectively, the South Coast Air High quality Administration District (AQMD) introduced on Tuesday. The advisory will likely be in impact for these communities by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
