Lady dies after falling over balcony aboard Carnival Firenze – NBC Los Angeles
A passenger aboard a Carnival Cruise Line ship died Monday morning after falling over the balcony of her room, the corporate confirmed.
The Carnival Firenze was close to Catalina Island when the passenger went over the balcony of her stateroom and landed on a deck beneath, in accordance with the cruise line. The girl was touring together with her household, who alerted the crew of her fall.
“All applicable authorities have been alerted,” an announcement from a spokesperson for the corporate stated. “As is customary, regulation enforcement will board the ship as we speak on Catalina Island to conduct the required investigation.”
It’s unclear what brought about the girl to fall.
“Carnival’s Care Workforce is supporting the visitor’s household, and our ideas and prayers are with them and their beloved one,” the assertion continued.
The corporate didn’t launch the identify of the deceased.
