Ja Morant traded to Path Blazers in finish to distressed Grizzlies tenure
Ja Morant’s time with the Grizzlies is over.
Morant was traded to the Path Blazers on Monday in a transfer that’s more likely to flip the NBA the other way up, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.
In return, the Grizzlies will get Jerami Grant and Kris Murray.
The commerce ends a seven-season run for Morant with the group that took him second total within the 2019 NBA draft, and in latest seasons was full of authorized points and repeated punishments for gun-related conduct.
