Injured hiker rescued from White Mountains through helicopter

Rescuers used a helicopter to succeed in a hiker who was greater than 7 miles from the trailhead on a New Hampshire mountain, officers stated.

At 11:52 a.m. on Could 28, a solo hiker texted New Hampshire 911 saying he had injured his leg and was unable to maintain going unaided, the state’s fish and sport division stated in a press launch Friday.
