Evacuation warnings have been lifted in Lancaster after crews made good progress on a brush hearth that broke out Saturday night, officers stated.

The “Juno Fireplace” was reported close to Lancaster Street and Munz Ranch Street at about 5:20 p.m., based on the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division. The blaze scorched 188 acres earlier than its ahead progress was stopped. It was 42% contained as of seven:45 p.m.

This comes as crews are persevering with to make good progress on one other hearth that prompted evacuation orders within the Antelope Valley. The “Summit Fireplace” sparked Friday afternoon and has since burned round 2,700 acres close to Llano.
