The motive force of a FedEx truck was rescued by firefighters when his truck was caught in rising waters off Cape Cod Saturday, officers stated.

Crews from the Wellfleet Hearth Division reported to the submerged supply truck round 11:33 a.m. Saturday. Utilizing a rescue boat, crews reached the motive force, who was transported to shore by midday, in response to the division.

The motive force was unhurt and evaluated by EMS when on land, Wellfleet Hearth stated. 

FedEx stated in an announcement that the packages have been collected and examined for damages, and the corporate will contact affected prospects. All the undamaged packages have been delivered, a spokesperson stated Sunday night.

Wellfleet Hearth referred to as on residents to be cautious throughout excessive tide on that highway, which travels alongside Loagy Bay to Lieutenant Island in Wellfleet.
