4.1 magnitude earthquake in jap Tennessee shakes Carolinas, Atlanta

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake rocked jap Tennessee Saturday morning and was felt as far-off as Atlanta, Georgia.
The quake originated close to Greenbeck, Tennessee, about 30 miles southwest of Knoxville, in keeping with the US Geological Survey.
The USGS reported the tremor had a depth of about 15.5 miles.
Residents in North and South Carolina and Georgia reported feeling the tremors.
“First ever earthquake you may truly really feel in Atlanta,” one X person posted. “Entire place shook for almost 10 seconds. Completely nuts.”
“I’m outdoors of Atlanta and I may’ve sworn I felt a slight tremor that shook my home,” one other posted simply after 9 a.m.
