Vicki Brick, former Philippine basketball participant, dies at 43

Vicki Brick, a former member of the Philippines girls’s nationwide basketball group, dies aged 43.

MANILA, Philippines — Former Philippine girls’s nationwide basketball group participant Vicki Brick handed away after a protracted battle with ovarian most cancers. She was 43.

The Filipino-American guard, who performed for Maryland within the US NCAA, was a member of the Philippine group (now often known as Gilas Pilipinas Girls) below coach Fritz Gaston.

She a part of the nationwide group that had runner-up end within the SEABA match in Phuket and gained the bronze medal win within the 2007 Southeast Asian Video games in Nakhon Ratchasima.

She teamed up with nationwide group stars Emilia Vega, Joan Grajales, Cassie Tioseco, and Minerva Narciza.

The previous Maryland captain led her group to the second spherical of the NCAA throughout her stint within the early 200s and was named to the All-ACC Tutorial Staff.

Brick is survived by her husband  Evan Zupancic and daughter  Jordan.

In an Instagram put up in 2014, Brick shared a photograph together with her former nationwide teammates after a tune-up recreation within the Philippines.
