‘Very unhappy day’: Early morning fireplace in Chelmsford leaves 2 lifeless – Boston Information, Climate, Sports activities
CHELMSFORD, MASS. (WHDH) – Fireplace officers are investigating an early-morning fireplace in Chelmsford on Saturday that left two males lifeless, officers stated.
Crews responding to a reported fireplace on Cell Avenue round 4:40 a.m. discovered smoke and flames on the entrance and rear of the constructing, in accordance with a joint assertion issued by Chelmsford Fireplace Chief Gary Ryan, Chelmsford Police Chief Colin Spence, State Fireplace Marshal Jon M. Davine, and Middlesex County District Legal professional Marian T. Ryan.
Crews eliminated two males, each of their 50s, who have been each pronounced deceased on the scene. The Workplace of the Chief Medical Examiner will decide the trigger and method of their deaths.

Firefighters introduced the fireplace beneath management in about half an hour, with no extension to surrounding properties.
The origin and reason behind the fireplace are beneath investigation by the Chelmsford Fireplace Division, Chelmsford Police Division, State Police fireplace investigators assigned to the State Fireplace Marshal’s workplace, and State Police assigned to the Middlesex DA’s workplace. They’re supported by the Division of Fireplace Providers’ Code Compliance & Enforcement Unit. Preliminarily, the fireplace doesn’t seem suspicious.
