A stretch of Topanga Canyon Boulevard that was closed because of the risk of rockslides and flooding has reopened.

A 3.6-mile portion of State Route 27 was closed Friday forward of the latest storm from Pacific Coast Freeway and Grand View Drive. The street reopened at about noon Monday after staff cleared rocks and different particles.

A number of slides had been reported over the weekend on the closed portion of canyon street.

State Route 27 stays an energetic work zone for restoration efforts from the Palisades Hearth and winter storms. It’s closed from midnight to five a.m. day by day and has site visitors restrictions, together with a one-way site visitors management part south of the Topanga city middle.
