Patrick Reed leaving LIV Golf for PGA Tour return
Patrick Reed is coming again to the PGA Tour.
The previous Masters champ introduced Wednesday on X that he wouldn’t return to LIV Golf and would search to return to the PGA as a previous champion member.
“I’m a traditionalist at coronary heart, and I used to be born to play on the PGA TOUR, which is the place my story started with my spouse, Justine,” Reed wrote.

“I’m very lucky for the alternatives which have come my method and grateful for the life we’ve got created. I’m transferring ahead in my profession, and I look ahead to competing on the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour. I can’t wait to get again on the market and revisit a number of the finest locations on earth.”
Reed raised eyebrows on Sunday when he revealed he was not beneath contract to play for LIV Golf for the upcoming season.
Reed now joins Brooks Koepka as the primary two big-name golfers to make a PGA Tour return after leaving for LIV.
Koekpa is enjoying in his first PGA Tour event beginning Thursday when he tees it up within the Farmers Insurance coverage Open.
Reed, who gained the Dubai Desert Traditional final week, mentioned he’ll proceed to play on the DP World Tour.
