Palm Springs police search public’s assist in figuring out canine theft suspects – NBC Los Angeles

Palm Springs police sought the general public’s assist in figuring out two individuals suspected of stealing a pair of canines close to a residence.

The theft was reported about 10:30 a.m. Friday within the 700 block of San Lorenzo Highway, based on the Palm Springs Police Division.    

Police say digicam footage captured a person between 30 to 40 years previous sporting a white T-shirt inscribed with the phrases “I would like espresso,” black shorts, a black cap, white sneakers and carrying a purple backpack. He was additionally described as having tattoos on his proper leg, presumably of an eagle design, and a proper arm sleeve.

The second suspect was described as a white girl in her 30s with brown hair, sporting a leopard-print costume, brown boots and carrying a black purse.

The suspects allegedly picked up the canines, who had wandered away from the house after a door was left open, and left the world shortly, police mentioned.    

The animals, Maggie and Winnie, have been every valued at about $2,500 and are microchipped. Police didn’t present the breed kind or different description of the canines.

Posting on social media, police mentioned the suspects are accused underneath Penal Code 485 — appropriation of misplaced property, “together with pets, with out looking for the rightful proprietor may be thought of theft.”
