Mania is a 1973 Italian horror thriller movie written, directed and produced by Renato Polselli (Black Magic Rites; The Fact In line with Devil; Delirium; The Monster of the Opera; The Vampire and the Ballerina) as Ralph Brown. Exploitation hack Claudio Fragasso (Troll 2) was the assistant director.
The film stars Brad Euston (who additionally wrote the preliminary draft of the screenplay), Isarco Ravaioli, Eva Spadaro, Carla Mancini, Max Dorian, and Mirella Rossi.
The movie had a restricted theatrical launch in 1974 resulting from censorship points.
Mania was thought-about ‘misplaced’ till 2007 when when a 35mm copy was found within the censor’s archive in Rome after which screened together with just a few different titles on the Trevi cinema as a part of a competition dedicated to Polselli, who died in 2006.




Plot:
Professor Brecht (Brad Euston) finds out his spouse Lisa (Eva Spadaro) is having an affair together with his twin brother Giordano. A lab hearth causes Brecht’s demise, with Lisa complicit within the crime. Years later, she returns to their villa together with her fiancé, a former assistant to the Professor, to cope with her trauma. Issues don’t go properly…
