An aged man was killed and his son severely harm as a raging fireplace ripped via their Lengthy Island house late Sunday, authorities stated. 

Barry Garfman, 82, was along with his 42-year-old son, Dustin Garfman, contained in the multi-family house on Depot Highway close to Leyden Road in Huntington Station when the inferno erupted round 11:15 p.m., in response to Suffolk County Police.
