The LA Zoo introduced on Thursday the arrival of two new child chimpanzees — the primary chimpanzees born on the zoo in 11 years.    

The primary child was born to 35-year-old feminine Yoshi and 26-year-old male Pu’iwa on Aug. 20. That is Yoshi’s third and Pu’iwa’s first offspring. The second child was born on Sept. 9 to first-time mom 18-year-old feminine Vindi.    

Each feminine infants have but to be named, and animal caregivers report the babes are doing effectively and bonding with their dad and mom.    

“We’re thrilled to welcome the most recent members of the troop!” Candace Sclimenti, curator of mammals for the zoo, stated in an announcement.
