Kershaw, Yamamoto heading to the 2025 All-Star recreation – NBC Los Angeles

Two extra Dodgers have been added to the 2025 All-Star recreation lineup.

Pitchers Clayton Kershaw and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will be part of teammates Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Will Smith in Atlanta for the Midsummer Traditional, the Los Angeles Dodgers introduced on Sunday.

Kershaw is coming off sturdy after finishing 3,000 strikeouts and Yamamoto will make his U.S. All-Star debut after making 5 All-Star Sport appearances for the Nippon Baseball League in Japan.

The final time the Dodgers had this many begins was in 1980, when first baseman Steve Garvey, second baseman Davey Lopes, shortstop Invoice Russell and middle fielder Reggie Smith have been known as to the lineup.

The sport is scheduled for July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta.
