Indictment dropped in opposition to LA TikToker shot by a federal agent – NBC Los Angeles
A federal choose dismissed an indictment in opposition to a TikTok creator who was shot by a federal agent in South Los Angeles.
Within the order, U.S. District Choose Fernando M. Federal brokers arrested Parias after they accused him of driving his automotive forwards and backwards, hitting regulation enforcement automobiles that had boxed him in. Officers stated Parias was making an attempt to flee an immigration arrest.
Prosecutors stated, in the course of the confrontation, a federal agent fired a weapon, hitting Parias within the elbow, with a ricochet bullet hitting a deputy U.S. Marshal within the head.
Parias’s lawyer did not instantly reply to a request for remark.
