Hiker harm making an attempt to avoid wasting canine on Mt. Wilson Path – NBC Los Angeles

A person mountain climbing Saturday afternoon on the Mt. Wilson Path in Sierra Madre was injured after trying to avoid wasting his canine that had run off the path, authorities stated.
Sierra Madre Search and Rescue together with the Sierra Madre Hearth Division responded to a report of an injured hiker on the Mt. Wilson path at about 2:45 p.m.
Officers stated the person sustained a leg harm whereas making an attempt to retrieve his canine after it left the path. Crews from each businesses carried out a rescue operation that lasted almost 4 hours.
The hiker was safely transported from the path and brought to an area hospital for remedy.
The hiker’s canine, named Mitsy, stays lacking.
Mitsy is described as an older black miniature Doberman Pinscher carrying an orange vest.
Authorities are asking anybody mountain climbing the Mt. Wilson Path this weekend to maintain an eye fixed out for the canine. They ask anybody who sees Mitsy to contact the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue.
