Springfield police are investigating after a girl was discovered lifeless close to a motorbike path on Tuesday morning.
At about 8 a.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of Corridor of Fame Avenue for a report of an unresponsive individual close to the bike path, Ryan Walsh, the Springfield Police Division’s public info officer, stated on X. A lady was discovered on the scene and pronounced lifeless shortly after.
The division’s murder unit and the Hampden District Legal professional’s Workplace’s homicide unit are investigating the lady’s unattended loss of life pending an post-mortem by the Chief Medical Examiner’s Workplace, Walsh stated.
