A reindeer was noticed trotting alongside the 5 Freeway Saturday, halting visitors close to San Fernando as authorities and Caltrans staff tried to corral the animal.

The California Freeway Patrol says they obtained a name round 6:30 a.m. relating to two reindeer that have been strolling alongside the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway, simply earlier than the 118 Freeway ramp.
