Brush fireplace reported in Castaic Junction in northern LA County – NBC Los Angeles

A brush fireplace broke out within the Val Velde space of Castaic Junction in norther Los Angeles County Thursday, fireplace officers mentioned.
The Jasper Fireplace was reported close to the Chiquita Canyon Landfill on Chiquito Canyon Drive close to Henry Mayo Drive at round 1:10 p.m.
The hearth was grown to a second-alarm fireplace as a result of medium degree of gasoline within the space.
About 100 acres had been burned as of two:15 p.m.
No buildings had been threatened.
No accidents had been reported.
