Boston strikes ahead with plan to close down 3 colleges – Boston Information, Climate, Sports activities
BOSTON (WHDH) – The Metropolis of Boston moved ahead with plan to close down three colleges, with the varsity committee approving the closures Wednesday night time.
The measure handed in a 6-1 vote, regardless of opposition from households and educators.
The Group Academy of Science, One other Course to School, and Lee Academy Pilot Faculty will shut in June 2027.
Three different colleges can be reconfigured.
The closures are a part of the district’s long-term purpose to lower the variety of buildings amid declining enrollment.
