Driver, occupant sought following lethal hit-and-run in South LA – NBC Los Angeles
Police are trying to find the driving force and passenger of a car that struck two pedestrians, killing one in all them, in South Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The crash was reported at about 9:30 p.m. on the 5900 block of 10th Avenue, in response to the Los Angeles Police Division. There, a driver hit two pedestrians, killing one on the scene and hospitalizing the opposite.
In response to police, the occupants of the car ran away from the scene. LAPD confirmed the occupants had been one man and one girl. A witness who stated he heard the impression corroborated police’s particulars.
“A woman jumped out the driving force’s seat, a man jumped out the passenger seat they usually took off operating,” the witness stated.
