Storm Group 4 is monitoring the possibility for extreme storms and showers to hit the tri-state beginning Thursday afternoon, which may carry damaging winds, flooding, and even the possibility for tornadoes.

The heaviest rain and strongest storms are anticipated between 4 p.m. and eight p.m.  That is when flash flooding shall be probably. 

The toughest-hit areas may choose up 3 to 4 inches of rain. Most areas will get lower than that.
