Air traveler accused of getting weapons, brass knuckles in baggage faces prices – NBC Los Angeles

A person faces a number of weapons-related prices after authorities mentioned weapons, a knife and brass knuckles have been present in his baggage at a non-public terminal at Hollywood Burbank Airport, a number of regulation enforcement sources informed NBC4 Investigates.
The costs stem from a July 24 when safety workforce members on the JSX Terminal discovered three weapons, a knife and brass knuckles in a passenger’s checked baggage. A loaded 9mm handgun was discovered within the passenger’s carry-on merchandise.
One of many weapons was described as a pockets gun, a compact gun that’s unlawful underneath California regulation.
Burbank Airport Police arrested the person on the terminal.
The suspect pleaded not responsible July 16 to possession of a pockets gun; carrying a dirk or dagger; manufacture, sale, possession of metallic knuckles; and carrying a loaded firearm in public after a felony conviction. He was launched on his personal recognizance underneath digital monitoring and a number of other different circumstances.
The following courtroom date was set for July 27.
