SoCal 12-year-old using e-bike severely damage in collision with Tesla
A 12-year-old boy using an e-bike was severely injured after being struck by a Tesla in San Diego on Saturday, officers stated.
The boy was using the e-bike westbound within the bike lane on Del Mar Heights Street at about 5:40 p.m., San Diego police stated in an announcement.
A 64-year-old man driving a 2023 Tesla Mannequin Y was touring in the identical route. The 12-year-old tried to show left from the bike lane onto Previous Carmel Valley Street when he collided with the entrance passenger facet of the Tesla, police stated within the assertion.
