Prime 10 largest snowstorms in Central Park now consists of Blizzard of 2026! – NBC New York

The tri-state space was pummeled with a large blizzard the likes of which we’ve not seen in years!
The full snowfall as of 1 p.m. Monday for Central Park is nineteen.7 inches — which places the Blizzard of 2026 at ninth place among the many largest snowstorms in Central Park historical past!
And, it isn’t out of the realm of chance, as information continues to come back in, that this storm cracks the highest 5!
The Nationwide Climate Service compiled the most important snowstorms — which it describes as being 1 foot or extra — registered in Central Park.
The information was compiled from 1869 as much as Jan. 1 of this 12 months — except for the info from the Blizzard of 2026.

The final spot on the Nationwide Climate Service checklist is No. 28 — a tie between a snowstorm that fell Dec. 30, 2000 and one which occurred on Feb. 9-10, 1926.
