Spain to purchase Rafael German unit missiles in Israel protest

The Spanish authorities of Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s is without doubt one of the most anti-Israeli within the EU, and this was demonstrated in June 2025, when the Ministry of Protection in Madrid suspended a €285 million deal to obtain Spike LR2 anti-tank missiles from Rafael Advance Protection Methods as a protest in opposition to the warfare in Gaza.
