The Broward Public Library Basis will have a good time its sixteenth annual LitLUNCH! on Friday, February 20, 2026, welcoming literary tastemakers and neighborhood leaders for a day dedicated to books, concepts, and the enduring pleasure of studying.

This 12 months’s featured speaker is bestselling writer, writer, entrepreneur, podcast host, and impartial bookstore proprietor Zibby Owens. Identified for championing authors and constructing some of the influential literary platforms within the nation, Owens will share insights from her newest novel Clean: A Novel, in addition to her memoir Bookends: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Literature and her kids’s ebook

LitLUNCH! 2026 takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. within the Aviva Ballroom at Pier Sixty-Six, 2301 SE seventeenth Road in Fort Lauderdale. The occasion serves because the official kickoff to the Basis’s Literary Feast fundraising season, which continues with LitLIVE! on Friday, April 17, and culminates with A Evening of Literary Feasts on Saturday, April 18—each that includes acclaimed and bestselling authors. Proceeds from the collection help Broward County Library literacy applications and providers funded by the Broward Public Library Basis.
