Pittsfield man, 69, killed in hit-and-run crash that dragged him ‘prolonged distance,’ DA says

A person was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pittsfield late Tuesday evening after being dragged a “prolonged distance” by the undercarriage of the automotive, prosecutors stated. 

Pittsfield police responded to a report Tuesday evening of a person mendacity within the roadway who appeared to have been hit by a car, the division stated in a press launch.
