Rick Caruso confirmed Thursday that he won’t run within the Los Angeles mayoral election after teasing a possible return to the race a day earlier.

“Rick is extremely moved by outpouring of help however reached an earlier determination in a considerate course of and it stands,” Caruso political adviser Mike Murphy advised the Los Angeles Occasions, referring to the billionaire actual property developer’s determination final month to drop out of each the mayoral and gubernatorial races.

Caruso appeared to weigh a return to the mayor’s race Wednesday after a report emerged that LA Mayor Karen Bass altered a Palisades wildfire report.
