Crews are responding after a practice derailed close to Route 32 in Mansfield on Thursday morning, in line with city and emergency officers.

A minimum of 13 practice vehicles derailed, and 6 of them, which have been carrying liquid propane for residence heating, landed in a river.

The opposite seven derailed on land — 4 carrying grease and three carrying non-hazardous materials, in line with Invoice Turner, the Connecticut emergency administration director.

There have been no evacuations, no lively leaks, and officers have issued a shelter-in-place within the space, the Division of Emergency Companies & Public Safety stated.

The derailment occurred at 9:22 a.m. Thursday, Connecticut State Police stated. The reason for the incident remains to be below investigation.

Route 32 is closed between Route 44 and North Eagleville Highway, and a number of emergency responders are on the scene, the city stated.
