Man shot, killed in Spencer shootout with police recognized – Boston Information, Climate, Sports activities
SPENCER, MASS. (WHDH) – The Worcester County District Lawyer’s Workplace has recognized the person who was killed in a shootout involving police in Spencer Tuesday night time.
Officers say Patrick Madison, 35, was killed in an alternate of gunfire with officers.
Spencer police responded to the world of 20 Most important Avenue in Spence round 5 p.m. for stories of somebody injured. Responding cops discovered somebody with a gunshot wound.
The injured individual was later taken to UMass Medical Middle.
Officers say roughly 12 minutes after, an individual matching the suspect’s description was discovered close to West Most important Avenue in Spencer. They approached the person and gunshots have been fired.
The person, recognized as Madison, fled to a Household Greenback as police pursued him. SWAT officers entered the Household Greenback and located him in a closed rest room.
Madison was then killed after an alternate of gunfire, in line with officers. A Millbury police officer was injured as nicely within the alternate.
The officer was taken to an area hospital and is in secure situation.
