Lady rescued after she is swept 9 miles in San Jose Creek throughout SoCal storm
A girl was rescued by firefighters after she was swept 9 miles down San Jose Creek, the Los Angeles County Hearth Division mentioned Wednesday.
The girl, whose title was not launched, was first noticed within the creek close to Fullerton Street by the 60 Freeway round 1:50 p.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene 17 minutes later, the girl was gone, the Hearth Division mentioned.
“She went downstream for some time,” mentioned Pauline McGee, a spokesperson for the L.A. County Hearth Division.
The Hearth Division continued in search of the girl downstream, sending fireplace vans and utilizing a helicopter, in response to footage shot by newsgathering outlet OnScene.TV.
Ultimately, the girl was rescued at Workman Mill Street in San Jose Creek, McGee mentioned.
