A contract safety guard was hospitalized Monday afternoon after he drove onto an airport taxiway and sped previous planes, authorities mentioned.

On Dec. 8 round 1:12 p.m., the guard assigned to a safety checkpoint “drove a car into an airport taxiway at a excessive charge of velocity,” in keeping with an announcement from John Wayne Airport spokesperson AnnaSophia Servin.
