Man killed by hit-and-run driver in Pacoima – NBC Los Angeles
Authorities are trying to find a driver who they are saying struck a pedestrian and left the scene in Pacoima Sunday night time.
Based on the Los Angeles Police Division, a white pickup truck was headed westbound on Van Nuys Boulevard when it struck a person strolling in an unmarked crosswalk.
Police responded to the scene at Van Nuys Boulevard and Sutter Avenue shortly earlier than 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The pedestrian, described as a person in his 50s, was pronounced useless on the scene, in keeping with the hearth division. It was not clear if the person was homeless.
The motive force deserted the truck not removed from the scene on Van Nuys Boulevard, the LAPD stated. No description of the driving force was accessible.
